The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan J. E. Serzhan Oralbayevych Abdykarimov had visited the institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice (VŠTE).

The representatives discussed the possibilities of concrete cooperation between the countries and education of Kazakh students at VŠTE. In recent years, Kazakhstan has been keen to deepen cooperation with Czech Republic, such as on the academic field. Every year, around 100,000 Kazakh tourists visit the Czech Republic and about 3,000 students come to study in the Czech Republic.

As the ambassador said, Kazakhstan is now undergoing a major modernization of its industry and is therefore interested in education, especially of technical fields. As technically focused, VŠTE appears to become an important partner for long-term cooperation.
