The staff of the School of Expertness and Valuation consists of expert witnesses, academics and experts from practice. The School of Expertness and Valuation was established on 1 July 2015 and, on the basis of the decision of the Ministry of Justice, was entered in Section 1 of the List of Expert Bodies in the field of Economics, in accordance with Act No. 36/1967 Coll., on Experts and Interpreters, as amended. The School is authorized to carry out expert opinions in the field of financial assets, the valuation of enterprises, the review and assessment of the transformations of business companies, the review and assessment of relations, contracts, prices and other facts according to the Commercial Code, accounting records, the valuation of intangible assets, non-monetary deposits, investments, wages, valuation of movable and immovable property.
In 2016, the School extended its expertise by the field of Mechanical Engineering acquiring the expert authorization for the construction of machines, technological equipment, transport and handling equipment, production and material engineering (systems and processes, production machines and equipment), the assessment of the technical condition (quality, reliability, and safety) of production machinery and equipment, including the assessment of the causes of machinery and equipment accidents.
Apart from the field of Economics and Mechanical Engineering, in the summer of 2018, the School also succeeded in expanding its expertise for the field of Civil Engineering acquiring the expert authorization for residential, industrial and agricultural buildings, and assessing and supervising the contracts requiring the BIM documentation.
